Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce

This year come be a part of our 75th Anniversary edition of Pioneer Days!   Thousands of people will flock to Pittsburg helping us celebrate.  

• Pioneer Day Festival will begin on Saturday, September 11th, with the Little Miss Peach Queen Ball, followed by the Queen ‘s Pageant on Wednesday, September 15th; and, Community Leaders Luncheon on Thursday, September 16th.
  
• Friday, September 17th brings a Health Fair; community Hot Dog luncheon; Youth Art Exhibit and Science Fair. The evening will bring the Latin Heritage Night featuring Mirna Torres from LA SUPER K and East Texas Radio, Virgilio Valle En Su Group AMOR and Mexico 2000 Folklorico Dancers with food vendor’s booths; live music and folk dancing.
  
• Saturday, September 18th begins with a spectacular parade that will feature all the Queen’s Court; youth groups; local floats and musical bands. The parade will be lead by the 15 member North Texas Caledonian Pipes and Drums, and also feature a 9 piece Arriago De America Mariachi Band!!. Main Street will be lined with crafts vendors; food booths; children’s entertainment; clowns; live entertainment on two stages in downtown. There will be carnival rides that begin on Thursday morning and continues through Saturday night.
  
• A street dance will also be held on Saturday night featuring the Cole Scroggins Band and Darrin Morris Band. In celebration of the 75th Anniversary for the Pittsburg-Camp County Chamber of Commerce, the festival will end with a blast with fireworks lighting up the sky over head at dusk on Saturday night!
